Mass Times was developed in 1994, to help traveling Catholics in the USA find a nearby church with a schedule of religious services.  The information was collected from dioceses and parishes throughout the USA and made available by telephone at first, and then via the Internet in 1998.

The word Novena come from the word "novem" which means "nine." It is a prayer that is said for nine consecutive days. A Novena may be a private or public spiritual devotion for the purpose of obtaining a special favour from heaven, be it a special grace, imploring a favour or to make a special petition.

This site has information on topics with patron saints , and profiles of those saints. Profiles have portraits, biographical information, areas of patronage , prayers , links to related sites, readings, etc. It’s heavily cross-indexed, and there are several ways to access the information.
